What Women (and Men) Want: Magazine Ad Copy by Sex

A few weeks ago, I came up with the idea for a project where I would go through a token men's magazine (like Esquire) and women's magazine (like Cosmopolitan), transcribe all the copy in their ads, and then use a PHP script to dive into that copy and cull out the most recurring words.  see the article

7 New Design Touches in Snow Leopard

There's a lot of literature out there about the new features in Snow Leopard, but this article isn't covering those. It's about some of the smaller touch-ups to the UI design that they made to the interface, and initial impressions of the progression of the design. I'd say these small touches are relevant because many user interface design changes we've seen over the course of the last decade or so have been born out of updates to the OS X user interface.  see the article
