Concept for Reddit 'I Am A...' Business Card
In a recent Reddit thread, an individual had an idea of creating some sort of hard copy business card that could be handed out to people that they met in everyday life that they thought had an interesting story to tell.
I guess I should explain the point of the "I Am A..." section of Reddit. Basically, people can go on there, tell everyone who they are or what they do (but still retain some anonymity). Members of Reddit can then ask questions and have discussions with these people about this unique or interesting facet of their life. It's like a Q&A session with every conceivable interesting person you could think of.
I decided to try my hand at the card making, and here's what I came up with. It's not going into my portfolio, but I still like how it turned out and wanted a place of permanence to put it.

You can also download a camera-ready PDF of the file here.
There's not much to the card, which I intended, as I wanted it to be a bit more intriguing. At first blush, the idea seems kind of odd: Someone talking with you about something interesting you told them, and then them telling you, "Hey, go to this website, and tell other people what you just told me!" Most people won't respond very positively to such a call-to-action, but if they feel genuinely complimented by it, and a little is left to their imagination, pure intrigue can take them the rest of the way.
