iPhone 4 Wallpaper Template; Folder Division Rules Included - Photoshop Template

I wanted to design a new background for my iPhone 4 that somehow incorporated the UI's method of showing contents of folders (it splits the background). In that process, I had to measure out some rules where the background would divide if a folder was selected. The file is a Photoshop template. Snazzy jQuery Form Alert Boxes

For a recent client, I wanted to write a script that would alert a user to not leave a field blank. Using jQuery, I wrote a script that animates a small alert box into a position relative to the input box in question. If the user "focuses" on the particular input box, then "blurs" (clicks off of it, or clicks elsewhere) without inputting anything, the alert box will insert itself into the DOM directly above the particular <input> in question alert them that they left it empty.  see the article

Tricking the Brain with Neuromarketing... New Age Marketing, or Marketing 101?

Morning Edition on NPR ran a story this morning about a recent study that was conducted wherein the researchers were trying to see how cognitive decision making could be influenced by outside stimulus. They had their test subjects memorize numbers on little slips of paper in Room A. Some participants had 2-digit numbers to memorize, others 7 and a mix in between.  see the article
